Boys Varsity Baseball · Sierra High School Hires New Head Baseball Coach

The Sierra High School Athletic Department is proud to announce Andrew Buxton as the next Head Coach of the Sierra Baseball team.

Andrew was born in Jefferson City, Missouri and is 27 years old. He went to high school in Piedmont, Missouri, called Clearwater. He has played baseball his entire life. Baseball has always been his passion! During high school he won four straight district title and at the end of his senior year we were 27-0 and the #1 3A team in the state. Unfortunately, they lost in the 2nd round of the state playoffs, but the experience he gained from those years are priceless. Andrew went on to the University of Missouri and played club for a couple years before walking away.

He decided to get into coaching in 2018 and was hired that winter by Liberty High School as an assistant. Andrew is excited and ready to lead Stallions baseball to success.
